King concludes Ukraine visit

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Friday returned home after an official visit to the Ukrainian capital Kiev during which he held talks with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych on means of forging closer cooperation between the two countries, especially in economic fields.

The two leaders also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, efforts to realize the two-state solution as well as regional and international issues of common interest.

The King also met with Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn and discussed means to promote cooperation, especially in parliamentary and legislative spheres as well as regional developments. The King also met with Prime Minister Mikola Azarov and discussed means of boosting cooperation, mainly in the economic field, ways to realize peace in the region as well as the latest developments in the Middle East.

On the sidelines of the visit, the King attended the signing of five agreements to boost diplomatic, health and military cooperation and combat money laundering.
