On 14 June 2011 Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan Dr. Sergiy Pasko met in Amman with the Minister of Culture of Jordan Mr. Tariq Masarwah.

During the meeting the both sides discussed the issues of the development of the bilateral cooperation in the sphere of culture.

The Minister invited famous art companies of Ukraine to participate in the Jerash festival. Both sides also discussed the issues of holding of the Days of Jordanian culture in Ukraine and the Days of Ukrainian culture in Jordan as well as the arrangement of famous painters’ exhibition and translation of the famous writers and poets’ books into Ukrainian and Arabic languages.
