On 28 November, 2010, Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan Sergiy Pasko participated in the official opening ceremony of the first session of the 16th Parliament of Jordan.

During the joint session of the Lower House and the Senate King of Jordan Abdullah II inaugurated the resumption of the Parliament’s work with his Speech from the Throne.

After the official ceremony the Ukrainian Ambassador held a few meetings in the parliament’s lobby with several Jordanian people’s deputies and discussed prospects of establishing in Jordan of a Ukrainian-Jordanian friendship deputies group.
