For the purpose of enhancement of the bilateral cooperation in the legal field on November 30, 2010, the Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan Mr. Sergiy Pasko and the Deputy Head of the State Court Administration of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr Pivtorak met in Amman with the Minister of Justice of Jordan Mr. Hesham Al-Tal.

During the meeting the two officials discussed the present state and prospects for development of the bilateral relations. The Ukrainian side emphasized the need to develop the legal base of the Ukrainian-Jordanian relations and asked the Jordanian Side to speed up the consideration of the draft Agreement on Cooperation in the Criminal and Civil Affairs.

In response Mr. Hesham Al-Tal promised to facilitate the work on the above-mentioned agreement and to provide the Embassy with the Jordanian amendments to it. Also Minister proposed to initiate the direct contacts between the National School of Judges of Ukraine and the Institute of Judges of Jordan.
