On 14 March 2011, Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan Sergiy Pasko participated in the ceremony of signing the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Mutual Protection of Confidential Information.

The agreement was signed in Amman during a working visit to the Kingdom of the delegation of the Security Service of Ukraine with the SSU Deputy Head V.Porodko as its chair. From the Jordanian side the document was signed by the Deputy Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordan Z.Majali.

The Ukrainian delegation also held meetings with officials from the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Jordan and the Directorate of the Military Intelligence, during which the two sides discussed prospects for increasing the scope of bilateral military cooperation by signing additional relevant agreements.
