On 28 August 2011, Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan received at the Embassy’s premises Mabada’s mayor Eid Abu Wandi.

The two sides discussed prospects for enhancing Ukrainian-Jordanian cooperation , especially on the level of regions of the two countries. In this regard they underscored the importance of the upcoming visit to Ukraine of Madaba’s official delegation with the goal of signing a friendship relations agreement with the city of Cherkassy. Jordanian officials will visit Ukraine in September and will also participate in the Days of Jordanian Culture, which are to be held during the same period.
