On the Remembrance Day of the victims of Political Repressions, which Ukraine annually marks on the third Sunday of May, in honor of the memory of those who suffered from mass political repressions of Soviet power of 1937 - 1938, the state flag at the Ukrainian in the Hashemite Embassy Kingdom of Jordan was flown at half-staff.
During the memorial event held at the embassy with the participation of the Ukrainian community, the tragic events of 1937-1938 that claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people were recalled, and the poetess Victoria Brychkova-Abu Qadoum recited her own poems about the political persecution that the Ukrainian people had experienced from Soviet power.
The staff of the Embassy and members of the Ukrainian community paid tribute to the victims of the Great Terror with a moment of silence.
