Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan visited the First Opera Festival in Amman

On July 19, 2017, Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan Sergiy Pasko visited The First Opera Festival that was organized in the Roman Amphitheatre in the downtown Amman by the well-known Jordanian Singer Zeina Barhoum. The event was held under the auspice of Her Royal Highness Princess Mouna. During the event, the singers performed La Traviata.
Z.Barhoum presented her new album Alcantara II in Lviv on February, 2. Shel also performed for the first time song on the words of Taras Shevchenko “The Mighty Dnieper”. Z.Barhoum received Grand Prix of the Second International Competition «Taras Shevchenko united people» in May 2017 for her impeccable performance.
The song was translated into Arabic in 2014 by the Jordanian poet Ruslan Ayash at request of the Ambassador of Ukraine.
