Exhibition “Children in War” opened in Amman

The photo exhibition “Children in War” was officially opened on November 7, 2016, dedicated to children in the front-line areas of Ukraine. The project presents impressive portraits of children. Child smiles, dreams and suffering are reflected in the photos. Some of the children live in Donetsk and Lugansk regions most affected with the fighting. Ruined schools and burned flags… Every hero has his own story… Every child needs help.
At the beginning of the event Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan Dr. Sergiy Pasko, Deputy of Hononary Consul of Republic of Côte d'Ivoire in Amman Ms. Lana Yacoub and President of International Charity Fund “Volunteer assistance” Mr. Yevhen Rokytskyi delivered the solemn speeches.
Vice-president of the Fund Ms. Olena Prokopenko is organizer of the photo exhibition.
The Heads of Diplomatic missions, accredited in the Kingdom, Jordanian businessmen, local media, Ukrainian community and citizens of Jordan attended the official ceremony of the photo exhibition.
Opening hours of the exhibition on November 8-9, 2016 from 10:00 am till 7:00 pm.
The auction will be held on November 9, 2016 at 17:00. The proceedings will be used for the needs of children from Eastern Ukraine.
