On 31 August, 2010, Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan S.Pasko took part in the presentation of the Jordanian youth delegation, which represented the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the 9th International Children’s Festival “Let’s Change the World for the Better!” that was held at the International Children Center “Artek” on 21 July – 01 August, 2010.

The presentation was held at the headquarters of the Young Women Christian Association – Jordan, which organized the Jordanian delegation for the trip to Ukraine. In his introductory statement S.Pasko congratulated delegation members on their successful participation in the festival, thanked the Jordanian partners for a high level of the delegation’s training and expressed hope that the fruitful cooperation between the Embassy and YWCA-Jordan would continue.

This year Jordan was represented at the festival by a multi talented group of 11 boys and girls from different regions of the country. It is worth underlining that among the delegation members were representatives of different ethnic groups and different religions. They informed the audience about their participation in the festival activities and shared their impressions from the stay in Ukraine, which they called “an unforgettable experience”.

The presentation was concluded by the performance of the Arab folk dance “dabke” in traditional Bedouin clothing.
