On October 20, 2010, Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan Sergiy Pasko met in Amman with the Minister of Industry and Trade of Jordan, the head of the Jordanian Side of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Jordanian Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation Amer Hadidi.

The two officials discussed in great detail the issue of the organization of the second session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Jordanian Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation, which is scheduled to be held in Amman, on November 23-25 this year.

At the meeting the Minister of Industry and Trade of Jordan put forward a proposal to hold during the next 6 months in Jordan or in Ukraine a big-scale Ukrainian-Jordanian Business Forum, which in his opinion will give a significant impetus for the development of the bilateral cooperation in trade and economic fields.
