“Sleeping Beauty 21st century” ballet takes place in Amman

On June 8, 2014 under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine in Jordan the first show “Sleeping Beauty 21st century” ballet took place in the Royal Culture Center in Amman. The show dedicated to the 200 anniversary of great Ukrainian poet and artist Taras Shevchenko’s birthday.
Ambassadors and embassies staff of Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, European Union, Philippines, Switzerland and Ukraine accredited to the Kingdom participated in this event. There were also representatives of government and public of Jordan, Jordanian graduates of Ukrainian universities and other guests.
The ballet organized by Freeway Dance Studios – one of the biggest dance schools in Jordan. The head of Freeway Dance Studios is Maxeem Ayyad.
Other two shows “Sleeping Beauty 21st century” will take place on June 9 and 11, 2014 in the Royal Culture Center.
