Jordan to support Ukraine’s position at UN General Assembly meeting

On March 27, 2014 the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan supported the draft resolution on supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine during UN General Assembly meeting.
At the meeting in UN General Assembly 100 countries voted in Favour for resolution on supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and called “referendum” in Crimea invalid. 11 countries voted Against the resolution and 58 Abstained from voting.
In general, the draft resolution was supported by 5 Arab countries.
The Embassy of Ukraine expresses gratitude to the leadership and people of Jordan for their support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
