During the meeting the Head of Ukrainian diplomatic mission informed Jordanian side about the situation in Ukraine, in particular the further illegal strengthening the military presence of the Armed Forces of Russia in Crimea, holding the referendum on the Crimean peninsula on March 16, 2014 and taken measures by the leadership of Ukraine, world countries and international organizations.

From their side, Mr. Mohammed Al-Azaydeh and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Halaibeh expressed solidarity with Ukrainian people, its support of the integrity and unity of Ukraine and blamed the invasion of Russian military in Crimea.

The Ambassador of Ukraine also expressed gratitude to the Jordanian Government and Jordanian for the support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukrainian the international scene.
