In the framework of celebration of the 205th Anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birthday on March 17, 2019 at 11:00 am Ukrainian saplings (trees) will be planted in the Park of Ukrainian-Jordanian Friendship, which starts at Taras Shevchenko street where Ukrainian Embassy is located. This park was inaugurated in March 9th 2015 in honor of the Great Kobzar.

The Embassy of Ukraine invites Ukrainian community in Jordan, Journalists, graduates of Ukrainian universities and everyone who wants to plant a tree in the Park of Ukrainian-Jordanian Friendship in Amman. Gathering and planting saplings will take place on the south part of Park, next to Abu Aisha Mosque.
