On October 2, Ukraine for the first time became part of a large-scale multinational celebration of the European Day of Languages, organized by the European Union National Institutes for Culture in Amman. The event took place in a popular among locals and foreigners walking area - on the Boulevard in Abdali.
The celebration program included such activities as mini-classes of European languages, art workshops, music and dance, movies and virtual reality.
Thanks to the creative efforts of the Embassy of Ukraine in Amman and the NGO "Ukrainian House in Jordan", visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of learning the Ukrainian language, learn several patterns of bracelet weaving, be taught how to make a traditional Ukrainian doll in different techniques, try painting and learn the basic dance elements accompanied by Ukrainian music. And in a cozy movie theater, guests of the event could watch an animated film made in Ukraine "Stolen Princess: Ruslan and Lyudmila", provided by the studio "Animagrad".
We thank the organizers of the event, the European Union National Institutes for Culture, for the opportunity to join the celebration of the European Day of Languages and present the diversity of Ukrainian culture to the audience.
