On September 8, 2021, H.E. Mrs. Myroslava Shcherbatiuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan held a meeting with the Executive President of the Technical Unit (secretariat) of Agadir Agreement on the Establishment of Free Trade Area between the Arab Mediterranean States Mr.Youssef Trifa. The parties discussed the ways of setting up partnership relations between Ukrainian business associations and Agadir Business Council.

Factsheet: In 2004 Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco signed Agadir Agreement on the establishment of Free Trade Area between the Arab Mediterranean States (named after the Moroccan city Agadir where the process of liberalization of trade between the countries mentioned above was launched). The Agreement is aimed at the increase in the volume of trade between its members states, their exports to the EU market and attraction of foreign investments.
