On May 25, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan celebrates the 75th anniversary of its independence.

This is a great and significant event for the entire Jordanian people. And on this day, the Ukrainian state expresses its warmest and most sincere congratulations to friendly Jordan at all levels - from the President to the Ukrainian community!

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Kingdom’s independence, His Excellency Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, in his letter to His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein wished the friendly Jordanian people peace, harmony and prosperity. The Ukrainian President assured the Jordanian leader of his readiness to further deepen bilateral relations with Jordan and stressed that he was "convinced that under the leadership of the Hashemite dynasty the second century of existence of the Kingdom will be a time of new achievements, victories and further strengthening of the authority of the state on the way to peace and stability in the Middle East".

H.E. Denys Shmygal, The Prime Minister of Ukraine, H.E. Dmytro Razumkov, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and H.E. Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, also expressed friendly congratulations to their Jordanian counterparts and the people of the Kingdom. Ukrainian high-ranking officials stressed the high potential of the Ukraine-Jordan partnership, praising the recent intensification of bilateral dialogue as a result of the joint vision of the two countries' leaders on key challenges of today, and emphasizing readiness to deepen communication between our countries.
