Ukraine and Jordan have significant potential for developing and deepening cooperation between the two capitals. Prospects for expanding cooperation between Kyiv and Amman were discussed during the meeting of H.E. Mrs. Myroslava Shcherbatiuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan, with H.E. Dr. Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, Mayor of Amman in the premises of the Greater Amman Municipality.

H.E. Mrs. Myroslava Shcherbatiuk thanked the Amman Municipality for the support and assistance provided to the Embassy of Ukraine in creating and improving important for Ukrainians places in Amman such as Taras Shevchenko Street and the Park of Ukrainian-Jordanian Friendship.

In his turn, H.E. Dr. Yousef al-Shawarbeh stressed that the mentioned street and the park are an indisputable sign of the depth and warmth of relations between the two peoples, and assured that the Municipality of Amman will continue to take care of these symbols of friendship between the countries.
