The Embassy of Ukraine in Jordan participated in the 46th Annual Diplomatic Bazaar, which was held under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal.

55 Diplomatic Representations, accredited in the Kingdom, took part in the Bazaar. They were selling their national souvenirs and traditional foods of their countries.

The means, collected from the selling of the national products will be used for the supporting orphan home for boys “Mabarrat Um Al Hussein” established in 1958 by late Queen Zein Al Sharaf.

HRH Princess Basma expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Ukraine for the brilliant exposition of the products of the Ukrainian masters as well as for the exhibition of the Ukrainian food products. Her Highness liked the goods of the Petrykivka painting and bought two boxes.

The Ambassador of Ukraine Sergiy Pasko informed the Princess Basma that the Ukrainian Petrykivka painting pretends to the status of the UNESCO World Heritage. The Ambassador stressed that the Ukrainian side has sent the relevant dossier on giving the Petrykivka ornamental art the status of the World Non-material Heritage to the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
