For the purpose of activization of the Ukrainian-Jordanian cooperation in the field of higher education on 23 September 2012 Ambassador of Ukraine in Jordan Dr. Sergiy Pasko met in Amman with the Minister of Higher education and scientific research of Jordan Dr. Wajeeh Oweis.

During the meeting the both sides discussed the issues of the development of the bilateral cooperation in the sphere of higher education. Ambassador in Ukraine raised the issue of recognizing of a number of Ukrainian higher educational institutions’ diplomas by the Jordanian side.

Jordanian Minister highly estimated the Ukrainian system of education and promised to further study the issues concerning the recognition of Ukrainian diplomas by the Jordanian authorities and invited the Minister of education and science of Ukraine to pay an official visit to the Kingdom.
