The opening was attended by journalists from local leading media, including from national television, representatives of Jordanian authorities, activists of Ukrainian and Jordanian communities.

The event was opened by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Serhiy Pasko, by addressing the audience with a speech in which he spoke about the theme of the exhibition, cited the terrible numbers of losses of the Ukrainian people and emphasized the extreme importance of bringing this information to the widest possible audience in order to prevent the repetition of such tragedy.

In addition to photographs and information banners devoted to the Holodomor theme, books and booklets on this topic in English were placed among wheat ears and candles lighted in honor of the memory of the victims of the genocide of the Ukrainian people.
