The event was initiated by Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Serhii Pasko with the solemn speech, in which he told about the preconditions and the history of the formation of this holiday and its special significance for the Ukrainian State. Participants of the event were able to recall the events of the two revolutions - the Orange and the Revolution of Dignity - during the presentation of materials on the historical events of 2004 and 2014.

Participants of the NGO "Ukrainian House in Jordan" and members of the children's band "UA Kids" celebrated the festive date by performing Ukrainian patriotic songs and folk dances.
