"An eternal traveler, chained to the easel," - said of himself, Ivan Marchuk - an artist of great power and passion, huge creative intuition, the master of high art culture and the perfect painting plastics.
Having a deep philosophic worldview, the artist creates an image that reflects the deepest shock of our days. His works - a message to the people: about peace and happiness, good and evil, life and death, about the highest ideals of love.
Eternal themes of life – these are his themes.
50 paintings representing five of twelve periods of creative genius of Ukrainian artist introduce the Eastern community of Ivan Marchuk ideological system that is rooted in high aesthetics. After all, the artistic heritage of the artist revealed strong reserves of folk wisdom, it seems like taken from the depths of the "golden age" of mankind. According to critics, Ivan Marchuk, digging into innocence pointed the way out of civilization dead end in Soviet times yet.
A special place at the exhibition in will Jordan be given to the works from the series named "Voice of my soul", because each painting in this series is a proverb and revelation, the formula of the universe and the key to its solution. But the works from the series "A look into infinity" will open up new and new horizons of the universe.
In addition, visitors will be able to meet innovative "marchuk" creative method, which radically changed the views on the possibilities of creation of modern visual art. Of course, it is about a completely original technique - "plontanizm" (from the word "plontaty" – to weave, to wattle), which balances on the edge of technological and man-made, and because of the complexity of the precise performance it is hardly to be a repeated.
