Representatives of Jordanian Government, Greater Amman Municipality, ambassadors and diplomats of foreign countries accredited in the Kingdom, Ukrainian community and prominent businessmen of Jordan attended the event, which was held in «Amman Marriott Hotel».

At the beginning of the event Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan Dr. Sergiy Pasko delivered speech to the guests, in which he noted that the reception on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence is holding on the Day of Dignity and Freedom of Ukraine which is marked annually on the 21^st of November. The Head of Ukrainian Diplomatic Mission described also new challenges facing Ukraine and informed about the perspective areas of Ukraine’s development as well as mentioned on Russian aggression against Ukraine. At the same time, Dr. Serhiy Pasko expressed gratitude to the leadership of Jordan and international partners for their support.

During the reception representatives of UkrainianCulturalCenter “Ukrainian house in Jordan” made performance for the guest. They sang two anthems of both countries and Ukrainian songs. Lively performance was very highly appreciated by foreign diplomats, Jordanian elite, Ukrainian and Jordanian communities.
