The two days official visit of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to Jordan is concluded. During the visit the Ukrainian leader hold the negotiations with the King of Jordan Abdullah II. The sides considered the ways of strengthening bilateral relations in the different spheres of cooperation. The leaders of two states discussed a rank of regional as well as international issues of mutual concern. Within the negotiations the special attention was paid to the issue of the opening the diplomatic mission of Jordan in Ukraine.

The six bilateral documents were signed in the frameworks of the negotiations:

- Agreement for cooperation in the field of plant quarantine between the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine and the Ministry of agriculture of the Hashemite Kingdome of Jordan;

- Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine and the Ministry of agriculture of the Hashemite Kingdome of Jordan on economic, scientific and technical cooperation in the field of agriculture;

- Memorandum of understanding between the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine and the Jordan Investment Board;

- Agreement for cooperation between the State Service for Youth and Sports of the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine and

the Ministry of Youth an Sports of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan;

- Agreement in the Field of Vocational Training between the Government of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Government of Ukraine;

- Cooperation Program between Ukrainian National Information Agency “Ukrinform” and Jordan News Agency “Petra”.

During the visit the President of Ukraine had the meetings with the Prime Minister of Jordan, President of Senate T.Masri, Speaker of the Lower House of the Jordanian Parliament K.Duhmi and other high ranking officials of the Kingdom.

The Ukrainian-Jordanian business forum was held in the frameworks of the visit. During the Forum the Agreement of the establishment of the Ukrainian – Jordanian Business Council between the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Jordan Chamber of Industry was signed.
