The Australian scientists (Melbourne University) have conducted studies of higher education quality in the world.

The experts compared the educational systems in the world by more than 20criteria in four factors: resources, investments by the Government and the private sector, a regulatory environment, international links and cooperation, results of scientific researches that contribute to a labour market needs.

The results of these researches represent an attempt to evaluate national system of higher education for a relatively large number of countries, covering different stages of their economic development.

The top five hit countries such as the USA, Sweden, Canada, Finland and the Kingdom of Denmark. The USA is leader in world's largest investment in higher education and the number of published scientific articles.

Ukraine - 25 place, which is quite high result. 24-th position is occupied by Kingdom of Spain, and 26 - Czech Republic.

It should be noted that any of the Eastern Europe and the CIS countries did not get in the Top 25.
