On December 2, 2016 the Embassy of Ukraine in Jordan participated in the Annual 38th Charity Bazaar of Al Hussein Society, which was held under the patronage of HRH Prince Raad Bin Zeid and HRH Princess Majda Raad.
More 30 Diplomatic Representations and women’s associations, accredited in the Kingdom, took part in the Bazaar. They were selling their national goods, gifts and traditional foods of their countries.
At the beginning Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Sergiy Pasko attended the opening ceremony of the charity bazaar.
The Embassy of Ukraine presented wooden products with Petrykivka painting, handmade accessories, “ROSHEN” chocolate products, cosmetics made by LTD “BIOCON”, alcoholic drinks TM “Kozatska Rada” and “Nemiroff” as well as Ukrainian food – dumplings (varenyky), stuffed cabbage rolls, pancakes, meat snacks, sweets and biscuits.
The money, procured from the selling of the national products will be used for the supporting children with disabilities patronized by Al Hussein Society, which was established in 1971. HRH Princess Majda Raad expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Ukraine for the brilliant exposition of the products of the Ukrainian masters as well as for the exhibition of the Ukrainian food products.
In the framework of Bazaar Entertainment, Ukrainian children's vocal and choreographic group «UA Kids» sang Ukrainian and Christmas songs, as well as they danced two dances.
The Embassy of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Ukrainian community for assistance and support during the Bazaar.
