The ceremony was attended by a large number of ambassadors and diplomats in Jordan

During his speech, the Ukrainian Ambassador praised the Ambassador Afifa El Mellah and said that she worked her best efforts to forge closer ties between Tunisia and Jordan.

He also added that he recalls the positive dialogue that took place in 2015 during the visit of His Excellency the President of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi to Amman.

He said he wished success and happiness for ambassador El Mellah after leaving Amman to Tunisia

In her speech during the ceremony, the Tunisian Ambassador said that she will leave Jordan and say goodbye to her good friends and it is very difficult for her to say farewell to these friends.

She thanked Ambassador Pasko and her fellow ambassadors for this honoring ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony, the Ukrainian Ambassador/ Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Dr. Sergiy Pasko presented a commemorative gift to the Tunisian ambassador which is a silver tray engraved with the names of her fellow ambassadors in Jordan.
