In the beginning of the event Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan Dr. Sergiy Pasko delivered the speech to Ukrainian community and Jordanian citizens in which he informed about tragic pages of the Crimean Tatar people, in particular the deportation of Crimean Tatars from their Motherland on May 18-20, 1944 on the order of Jo.Stalin.

Also, the Head of Ukrainian Embassy mentioned about the current violations of human rights of Crimean Tatars in occupied Crimea by the Russian Federation.

         The guests of the event received information materials about the deportation of the Crimean Tatars and watched “Haytarma” and “Crimea is ours” films.
