The event was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdalla Ensour Prime Minister of Jordan and for the support of the Hashemite Fund for development of Jordan Badia and the Ministry of Agriculture.  

Ministers, senators and deputies of the Jordanian parliament, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, intellectual and political elite of Jordan, sheikhs and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Kingdom attended the conference.
