On November 15, 2015 Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan Dr. Sergiy Pasko took part in the official opening of the third ordinary session of the Lower House of National Assembly of Jordan, during which His Majesty King Abdullah II delivered the Speech underlining the main tasks for the Parliament in the nearest future. The King focused on his attention to regional issues and fighting against terrorism.

After the official part the Speaker of the House of Representatives (Lower House) of Jordanian Parliament was re-elected. Mr. Atef Tarawneh easily defeated three other lawmakers who ran for the speaker's post and was re-elected for this post.
