The event was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Jordan and Republic of Korea, representatives of the League of Arab States, deputies of Jordanian parliament and others took part in the forum.

The forum, launched in Cairo in 2003, has been held annually in Korea and the Middle East alternatively. The forum, which aims to enhance ties between Korea and the Arab region and to promote mutual understanding on various issues, brings together key figures in political, economic and academic fields from South Korean and Arab countries.
