In Jordanian capital on Taras Shevchenko street, where Ukrainian diplomatic mission is located, the Memorial plague was set in honor of the Great Ukrainian Kobzar.
At the request of the Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Sergiy Pasko the leading Jordanian company «A.W.Yasin & Sons Co / Orientals Jerusalem Art Stone» produced and installed the Memorial plaque made from Italian Laza Bianco Marble.
On the Memorial plaque (size 100x60 cm) there are a portrait of the Great Ukrainian Kobzar and inscription in Arabic, Ukrainian and English: «This street is named after Taras Shevchenko - the great Ukrainian poet and artist to mark the 200th anniversary of his birth. The decision was issued by Great Amman Municipality in March 2014».
