AMMAN — Ukrainian Ambassador to Jordan Sergiy Pasko on Wednesday said that his country has suggested to Jordan that Jordanian students studying in unstable areas be transferred to safer regions in the west of the country and its capital.
The number of students is 3,500, according to the ambassador who said he met with Higher Education Minister Amin Mahmoud and conveyed the proposal.
In addition, Pasko suggested accrediting additional Ukrainian universities. The ambassador made the remarks at a press conference held at the embassy to mark the 18th anniversary of Ukraine’s adoption of the constitution.
