The reporters and journalists from leading local media attended the press conference, among them from TV channel «TV Roy», Jordan News Agency «Petra», newspaper «The Jordan Times», news web-site «Amman newspaper» and others.

During the press conference, Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Serhiy Pasko informed the representatives of the local media about reasons of flight MH 17 crash, assistance of Ukrainian Authorities in the investigation with the participation of national and international experts. The Head of diplomatic mission presented evidences provinf that the plane was shot down by terrorists using BUK-M anti-aircraft missile system which was moved from Russia.

Dr. Serhiy Pasko informed also about the state of trade and economic cooperation, the process of transfer of Jordanian students from Donetsk and Lugansk to universities in stable regions of Ukraine, as well as addressed to Jordanian businessmen to participate in the donor conference on Ukraine scheduled for autumn 2014.

The Head of Ukrainian Embassy a answered journalist’s questions concerning the ways of expanding trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Jordan and opportunities for Jordanian students to continue their education in Ukraine.
