The journalists from major local media attended the press conference, among them from Jordan News Agency «Petra», Jordanian Radio & TV Corporation, Amman Newspaper, «Ammonnews», «Ad-Dustour» and others.

During the conference, Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Serhiy Pasko informed the representatives of the local media that the Constitution was adopted and ratified of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) of Ukraine on 28 June 1996 and its amendments in 2004, 2010 and 2014. The Head of Ukrainian Embassy told about the implementation of constitutional reform in Ukraine, in particularly Concept of the Reform of Local Self-Government and Territorial Organization of Government in Ukraine

Dr. Serhiy Pasko said, that Petro Poroshenko won in the first tour of Ukrainian Presidential elections, described his first steps on this position, Peaceful plan of the President of Ukraine on the settlement of the situation in eastern regions of Ukraine, and informed about signing economic part of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, as well as the state of Ukrainian-Jordanian relations during first four mouths 2014, in particularly in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, scientific and tourist fields.

 Ambassador answered journalists’ questions, concerning amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, the situation in Crimea and in the Eastern Ukraine, education Jordanian students in Ukraine and the next steps of our State in economic sphere.
