Journalists from major local media attended the press conference, among them  M.Abueid from Jordan News Agency «Petra», K. Ali Malkawi from daily newspaper «The Jordan Times», S.Malkawi from «Anadolu Ajansi», E.Nuseir form Jordanian Radio & TV Corporation and others.

During the conference, Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Serhiy Pasko informed the representatives of the local media about the results of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Jordan in 2013 and presented the agenda of Ukrainian-Jordanian cooperation scheduled for 2014. In addition, the Head of the diplomatic mission of Ukraine informed the journalists about the current political situation in Ukraine, including the negotiations between President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and leaders of opposition, the voting on January 28, 2014 in Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on cancellation of the laws adopted on January 16, 2014 and M.Azarov resigning from the position of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Ambassador answered journalists questions, concerning bilateral trade, economic cooperation, interaction in cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as Ukraine's position regarding the Middle East peace process and situation in Syria.
