At the invitation of the Metropolitan of the Greco-Orthodox Church of Jordan Benedictus the Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan Serhiy Pasko and diplomats participated in the official ceremony of celebrating the Christian Holiday of Baptism of our Lord, which took place on the Baptism Site of the Jordan River. 

The representatives of the Christian confessions of Jordan, Jordanian government as well as diplomatic corps accredited in Amman also took part in this event.
