During his speech at the opening of the Congress, the Head of the Ukrainian delegation stressed that Ukraine pays a great attention for the of Ukraine-Jordan cooperation in the medical sector, which was proved by the results of the official visit of President of Ukraine Mr. Viktor Yanukovytch to Jordan in April 2012.

For the purpose of enhancing of the Ukrainian-Jordanian cooperation in the medical field the Ukrainian side proposed to take a number of measures, in particular, to hold in Kiev in 2014 the second Ukrainian-Jordanian medical Congress.
