In order to intensify the Ukrainian-Jordanian interparliamental cooperation the Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan Serhiy Pasko held a meeting with the Speaker of the Lower House of the Parliament of Jordan Saad Hayel Al-Srour in Amman.

During the meeting the sides discussed the issues connected to the official visit of the Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak to Jordan, which is planned for the second half of this year.

Saad Al-Srour highly appreciated the development stage of the Ukrainian-Jordanian relations and expressed confidence that the visit of the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament to Jordan will promote strengthening the bilateral interparliamental cooperation.

During the meeting the sides also discussed the issue of establishing the Group of Friendship with Ukraine in the Lower House of the Jordanian Parliament.
